Grandpa's Letter #1

Dear, Dato' pa' - Agustinus Daniel Goestam (grandfather in my native language).

I am so bummed I never had a chance to meet you. So, let me introduce myself, I'm your littlest granddaughter, I met your wife for a few years of my life. She was really nice, no wonder you married her. And my mother here, she's doing really great. She got a job in Singapore, she take me. I think, you should be proud of her, she worked really hard and look, I get a chance to go to school in Singapore.

I heard about you a lot, mom said you were very discipline. And you weren't the man with most wealth, but mom said you did the best you could for your family. So, grandpa, if you can look at your kids now, i think you really should be proud of them. Not just my mother, but my other aunts and uncles too.

I really wish I could meet you, I think I will learn a lot from you if you were here. And I wish you are watching over me, because I'm currently not on my happiest place ever, but don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful of my life, but it's kind of in transition, so yeah I need time, help me?

Oh and if you know me, I think you would go really strict on me, because I'm kind of lazy in a way. Heheheee, but my grades are good somehow. And mom, she really misses you, grandpa, and grandma too, I feel so sorry for her, but sooner or later I'm gonna feel what she feels to, right, when she's gone, but I hope it won't happen soon, I have to repay her first for everything she did in my life.

I hope you could tell God, that I'm sorry I haven't gone to church for about 3 weeks, HEHEHE, don't be angry, grandpa, mom said if you were still alive you would yell "BANGUN! KEGEREJA!", so that she gets really afraid of you and she instantly woke up from her sleep and went to church. I know I haven't meet you, but I somehow miss you, and Grandma, please tell her to watch over mom, as she misses her so bad. And I hope you can read this there.
